It also sends you notifications when a door is left open, when your fridge or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter. It is nice to have GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill the option that is available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allow users to set the number of cups they would like to pour out. It does offer a countdown feature on the fridge's display to show how much water you have left, but it's not as effective as Precise fill. Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. Its capacity is higher than average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a little cheaper than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it a popular choice. Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option for those looking for a French-door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a basic fridge which may not be as attractive as some of its competitors however it has enough features to make it a an excellent option. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large ice maker and a water dispenser. Another feature that is worth mentioning is the “Chill Drawer” that sits over the two crisper bins. The drawer allows you to divert a portion of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, so you can put away food items that require special attention. This feature can be adjusted using a slider located outside the drawer. You can also use this feature to set a general cooling level for the whole fridge, though I've found that adjusting the general settings tends to produce better results than specific ones. In my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the fridge didn't differ much from 38 degrees. This is a good performance, but does not quite make it to the top of our rankings. This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat in order to gain more precise information on the internal temperature of your fridge. The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is constructed of grey-bodied stainless steel with a “smudge-proof” finish.
